A new welsh head office
Following a public open tender process, TFI were appointed to deliver the CAT-B fit-out of the General Medical Council’s new Welsh head office in Cardiff.
The Refurbishment
Working closely with the GMC’s project team, we created new meeting rooms, a highly secure comms room, bespoke joinery and decorations and modified flooring, air-conditioning, fire alarm & cabling, power and data. TFI adapted and developed the GMC’s tender designs and managed the project with local subcontractors, client incumbent providers and the landlord’s building management.
The Challenges
Our site manager appointed on the project relocated from his base in South East England to Cardiff for the duration of the project to ensure seamless delivery and hands-on approach to the project.
