Attracting talented staff by providing an invigorating work space
The client is based in central London, which is a highly competitive market to attract and retain the best staff. The work typically requires staff to frequently travel and are generally transitioning between the office and other locations. The client wanted to create a work space that allowed staff to work for periods at a time, but more importantly so that they could meet and collaborate with their colleagues in an invigorating environment.
Office Fit Out
Our role was to provide a collaborative workspace, which would stimulate a flexible and efficient work environment and ensure the contentment of staff members within a busy London climate. To do this, we consulted various teams of staff within the company to critically identify and implement the workspaces which would suit their individual needs. This
included the design and installation of open-plan office space, fitting quiet focus areas, and sectors for team collaboration alongside design and installation of bespoke joinery.
We were pleased to have been able to deliver this CAT B fit out well within the confines of the budget of a long-standing charity partner, and to have conformed to the needs of so many stakeholders within the Cancer Research team.
The Challenges
Due to the site’s central location within one of London’s busiest construction hubs, careful planning was required to deliver materials to and from the site. Consequently, many deliveries had to be executed outside of working hours.
